What is Milford Hills?
Milford Hills is a premier outdoor destination in Wisconsin offering sporting clays, game bird hunting, dining, events, weddings, and outdoor recreation.
Is the clubhouse open to the public?
Yes! Our clubhouse and pub are open to the public during scheduled hours and for select events. The only thing that requires a membership at Milford Hills is hunting.
What are the pub hours?
Due to events and other obligations we do not have set hours. However, to see our hours click here.
What type of food does the pub serve?
The Milford Hills Pub offers a variety of menu options including burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, appetizers, seasonal specials, fish fry events, and chef-inspired dishes made with fresh ingredients.
Do you offer a fish fry?
Yes! Our Friday Fish Fry is offered consistently during the hunting season months. Due to our busy summer event schedule, fish fries are limited during the summer. Check our social media or call Milford Hills for current fish fry dates.
Do I need a reservation for dining?
No! You do not need a reservation for the pub or fish fry. However, for special dinners and brunches you do need to make a reservation.
Hunting
What types of hunting does Milford Hills offer?
Milford Hills offers premier pheasant, quail, & chukar hunting and upland bird hunting experiences on our beautiful 500 acres Wisconsin property.
When is hunting season at Milford Hills?
The first day of hunting season for the 2026-2027 season is September 13, 2026.
Do you offer guided hunts?
Yes! Milford Hills offers guided hunting experiences designed for both new and experienced hunters.
Can beginners hunt at Milford Hills?
Absolutely! Our experienced guides help create an enjoyable and memorable experience for hunters of all skill levels.
Do I need a hunting license?
No! Milford Hills is a Class A Game Farm, so a Wisconsin hunting license is not required to hunt on our property.
What is included with a hunt?
Hunt packages vary but may include guided service, birds, field access, and additional options. Contact Milford Hills for current package details. Click here to contact us.
Can I book a group hunting trip?
Yes! Groups can book a hunting trip if someone in the group is a Milford Hills member. If no one is a member, Stay & Play packages are available, although availability is limited. Please call for more information and availability.
Do you offer corporate hunting experiences?

Sporting Clays
What is sporting clays?
Sporting clays is an outdoor shooting sport that simulates different hunting situations using clay targets. It is often described as “golf with a shotgun” because shooters move through different stations and experience a variety of target presentations.
Do I need experience to shoot sporting clays?
Not at all! Sporting clays are great for beginners and experienced shooters alike. Our courses are designed for all skill levels, and our staff is available to help first-time shooters get started.
Do I need my own shotgun?
No. You are welcome to bring your own shotgun, or you can contact Milford Hills about firearm rental options and availability.
Do you offer firearm and golf cart rentals?
Yes. You can reserve those items aswell.
Do I need a reservation to shoot?
Reservations are recommended for large groups and required for outings. Individual shooters are welcome during open range hours.
Are sporting clays available year-round?
No. Sporting Clays are only available normally in April through early November.
Do you host sporting clays fundraisers?
Yes! Milford Hills hosts sporting clays fundraisers for organizations, nonprofits, and groups. We’ll help make your event a fun and memorable experience for everyone.

Yes! We are a dog-friendly wedding venue and welcome your furry family members on your wedding day.
How many guests can Milford Hills accommodate?
We have two different ceremony & recepetion sites. The Clubhouse can hold 225 people plus the head table. The Hideaway can hold 110 people including the head table.

Events & Private Parties
What types of events do you host?
Milford Hills hosts corporate outings, fundraisers, birthday parties, graduation parties, holiday parties, rehearsal dinners, and other private events.
Do you offer meeting spaces?
Yes. We have several different meeting spaces. For smaller groups we offer the Boardroom, Member room, and the classroom. For larger groups we offer the Hideaway and Clubhouse.
Can you provide food and beverages for events?
Yes! Our team can help customize food and beverage options for your event.

The Trading Post
Do I go to the Trading Post to do sporting clays, the range, and Five Stand?
Yes! The Trading Post is your first stop for sporting clays, the pistol/rifle range, and Five Stand. Stop in to check in, purchase your targets or range pass, and get everything you need before heading out.
What does the Trading Post sell?
The Trading Post offers Milford Hills apparel, firearms, hats, gifts, gift cards, outdoor gear, hunting accessories, and other merchandise.
