Whether you're new to firearms or refining your technique, Milford Hills offers professional instruction to ensure a safe, comfortable, and effective shooting experience. Our qualified instructors provide expert training year-round in rifle, pistol, and shotgun disciplines - customized for individuals, couples and groups.
Private lessons are available by appointment and can be tailored to your goals, from basic handling and safety to advanced marksmanship.
Instruction Rates
- One-on-One: $80/hour
- Two People: $60/hour per person
- Three or More: $40/hour per person
Rates do not include firearm rentals, ammunition, or range fees.

Hunter Education Classes
Held in The Hideaway at Milford Hills from 5:30–9:00 PM on scheduled dates. All registration is completed through the DNR Go Wild website. A DNR Customer ID is required before enrolling.

Bachelor Party Packages at Milford Hills

Looking for a bachelor party that goes beyond the usual? Bring your group to Milford Hills for a one-of-a-kind celebration featuring shooting sports, scenic views, and laid-back hospitality. Our bachelor party packages offer something for every group—from competitive clays to relaxed range time.
Add professional instruction to any package or include our 3D Archery Course for an even more action-packed day. (Archery not available with the Draw & Aim Package.)
Each package includes a hearty lunch: 1 pizza per 4 guests, 2 domestic beers per person, and unlimited soft drinks.
Packages are priced per person and require a 6-person minimum. Smaller group? Ask about private lessons with our Club pro.
Rental Options
- Shotgun Rental: $35 per person
- Premium Shotgun Rental: $45 per person
- Golf Cart Rental: Starts at $20/hour

Shooting Rules & Policies
- No alcohol consumption before or during shooting activities
- Rentals and packages valid only during regular business hours
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
- Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full event amount
